Poster Guidelines
Format
Maximum format: DIN A0, portrait only max. width: 841 mm / 33.1 inches max. height: 1189 mm / 46.8 inches.
Location
All poster sessions will take place in the large exhibition hall "BERNEXPO 2" in the centre of the Congress venue.

Schedule
The poster sessions are scheduled in the afternoon of Congress days 1-5 (no poster session on the last day). Poster presenters are expected to be in attendance during their poster session.

The posters will be on display for the entire day of the respective poster session. Please put up your poster in the morning before 8.30 am and remove it no later than 6 pm. Posters left behind will be trashed by Congress staff.
Student poster prizes
The best student posters of each day will be awarded prizes!Eligible are posters which are first-authored and presented by students before completion of their PhD. Students should mark their posters with the coloured sticky labels given out at the poster desk.
Prizes of CHF 300 each are sponsored by the City of Bern, Nature Geoscience, PAGES and ProClim. Those students awarded a City of Bern prize will have the honour of receiving it by the mayor of Bern during a reception in the town hall.
