This excursion brings us to the high central Alps in a very comfortable way. Apart from being a tourist attraction Top of Europe allows a magnificent insight into glaciology and glacial geology/morphology en route to the high mountains. On Top of Europe, at a multinational research station, work is done on atmospheric physiscy and chemistry. The station is famous for its long term records.
Please note that this excursion brings you to high altitudes (3475 m asl) in a few hours which may be hard on your physical conditions. It is highly advisable to check with your medical doctor before you decide to book that excursion.
The tour is co-guided by scientists of the research station.
