Title Holocene rapid environmental change end extreme events as recorded in lake sediments
CommissionPALCOMM HaB
Description

This session focuses on Holocene natural and man-made environmental change as recorded in lake sediments. Particularly welcomed are methodological contributions and case studies from high-resolution (varved) records, quantitative assessments of rates of change, variability and extremes of climate change and human impacts as reconstructed from biological, biogeochemical and sedimentological proxies.

Convener(s)Antti Ojala, Pierre Francus, Bernd Zolitschka, John Dearing, Martin Grosjean
